Laminating Wood

Inspired by Richard Deacon
First i got the wrong wood and it was too long so i couldn’t soak it and then it was not bendy enough so it kept snapping.
I cut myself some new wood from hardboard. This was much more flexible but still too long to soak in water or steam with the resources i had.
Some of the pieces broke if i bent them too far.
But i managed to create some interesting shapes by wrapping it around nails that i’d hammered into the table.
Lamination worked much better with 4 layers as opposed to two.
